Corner protectors

Corner protectors provide reliable cushioning for corners and edges, for example on railings, in passageways or around pipes. At the same time, these products also protect industrial trucks, machinery and walls, helping to prevent damage to both vehicles and facility infrastructure. These corner guards are made of durable and solvent-resistant polyurethane foam (PU foam) and are attached using self-adhesive coatings, magnetic coatings or by simply slipping them on. 2. Selecting the fitting method for corner protectors

Our corner and edge guards can be installed quickly and easily. The following installation options are available:

• Self-adhesive: Self-adhesive corner protectors adhere to any smooth, clean, grease-free surface.
• Magnetic: Corner protectors with magnetic mountings can be fitted to any magnetic surface, e.g. on pipes or railings. Due to the magnetic fixing, these corner guards can easily be removed at any time without leaving residue.
• Slip-on: Edge guards in a specific shape can also be installed and removed without leaving any residue, as they simply slip onto a surface. However, slip-on corner protectors are only suitable for surfaces with a matching profile.

3. Material of the protective profiles

At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you can buy edge protectors made of polyurethane foam in yellow and black signal colours. The high-quality material is equally suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 90 degrees. Due to its UV and solvent resistance, the material is versatile and easy to clean. The foam also complies with fire protection classification UL 94.

A further advantage of PU foam is that it can easily be cut to a desired length using a handsaw or cutter. This enables you to protect corners of various shapes and sizes.
