Finding the right lithium-ion stacker

Lithium-ion stackers are part of the electric stacker truck family and can be used in logistics, warehouses, and sales and dispatch departments. These battery-powered stackers are particularly economical thanks to their modern drive technology. Fast charging times, high energy density, and long service life with no memory effect make our lithium-ion stackers powerful transport assistants for horizontal and vertical load handling.

These maintenance-free industrial trucks can also be used in multi-shift operations and offer higher energy efficiency than electric stackers with gel or lead-acid batteries, despite their compact design. All Jungheinrich lithium-ion stacker models are designed for pedestrian use only.

1. Choosing lithium-ion stackers with the right mast type

The lithium-ion stacker best suited to your needs depends on the lift heights you need to service and the size of the loads you need to move. For stable and consistent load lifting, choose a lithium-ion stacker with one of the following mast types – all available in our online shop:

Mast Design Functions and Benefits
Simplex mast (single stage lift mast)Product image no. 1: Ameise® PSE 1.2 electric high-lift stacker truck, two-stage telescopic mast, lift height 2,600 mm, load capacity 1,200 kg
  • Lift range up to 2000 mm
  • Load capacity 1200 kg
  • Direct lift via the centrally positioned lift cylinder or chain deflection
  • Overall height remains unchanged when the forks are raised to the maximum lift height
  • More stable mast profile than the single column mono mast
Mono mast (single column mast)Product image no. 1: Jungheinrich EJC M10 E electric high-lift stacker truck, single mast, lift height 1985 mm, load capacity 1,000 kg
  • Lift range up to 2000 mm
  • Load capacity up to 1000 kg
  • Centrally mounted single column mast
  • Maintains the same overall height when the forks lowered or raised
  • Ideal for low ceiling heights (fork carriage assembly increases the overall height by approximately 40 mm at maximum lift)
  • Narrow mast provides easy access and a clear view of the loaded goods and traffic environment
  • Can be used as a mobile worktable
  • Lithium stacker can be used on mezzanine floors
Duplex mast (double telescopic mast) Product image no. 1: Jungheinrich EJC M10 ZT electric high-lift stacker truck, two-stage telescopic mast, lift height 2,585 mm, load capacity 1,000 kg
  • Lift range up to 4400 mm
  • Load capacity up to 1200 kg
  • Usually has a free lift of 100 mm, ground-free lifting and movement of loads (mast height remains unchanged)
  • More stable than the mono mast and therefore ideal for greater lifting heights
Duplex mast (double telescopic mast with additional lift)Product image no. 1: Jungheinrich EJC 110i ZT electric high-lift stacker truck, two-stage telescopic mast, lift height 2,390 mm, load capacity 1,000 kg, proportional hydraulics
  • Lift range up to 4400 mm
  • Load capacity: up to 1200 kg for load lifting, up to 2000 kg for horizontal load transport
  • Additional lift cylinder enables particularly large free lift (chain deflection)
  • Ideal for use in low ceiling heights: basement rooms, enclosed railway freight wagons, freight contains, etc.
Triplex mast (triple telescopic mast with additional lift) Product image no. 1: Jungheinrich EJC 112i DZ electric high-lift stacker truck, three-stage telescopic mast, lift height 4,180 mm, load capacity 1,200 kg, proportional hydraulics
  • Lift range up to 4800 mm
  • Load capacity: up to 1200 kg for load lifting, up to 2000 kg for horizontal load transport
  • Equipped with additional lift cylinder that enables particularly large free lift
  • Can achieve great storage heights despite low overall height
  • Suitable for passage through low doorways

2. Semi-electric or fully electric equipment for lithium-ion stackers

Our lithium-ion stackers are available with two different drive types:

  • Semi-electric lithium-ion stackers perform the lifting work through the electric lift motor, while travel is done manually through the tiller. Ergonomically positioned guide handles make pushing and manoeuvring easier during stacking and unstacking. Lithium-ion stackers with semi-electric drive are ideal when you need to cover short transport distances.
  • Fully electric lithium-ion stackers have two motors and are the perfect solution for warehouse and transport tasks. The drive motor handles the forward and reverse movement to your storage location. Once you've arrived, the lift motor raises or lowers the fork carriage and its loads. The operator can control these functions directly via the controls on the tiller head. Fully electric lithium-ion stackers are ideal for intensive load transport and lifting.

Regardless of the drive type, many of our lithium-ion stackers are equipped with three-phase motors. The drive energy is generated via magnetic cords and the motors operate without wearing parts, making them completely maintenance-free and ensuring a long service life.

3. Additional functions for more safety and comfort

At the Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you can purchase lithium-ion stackers with any necessary practical additional functions. These provide more safety during manoeuvring and make handling the industrial trucks easier:

  • Models with creep speed button allow you to move the lithium-ion stacker with a raised tiller and reduced speed, making manoeuvring easier, especially in tight spaces or corners.
  • Proportional hydraulics allow for particularly gentle lifting and lowering of sensitive or fragile goods.
  • Finally, driving assistants such as the ProTracLink system or the optimal wheel lift increase driving stability even on uneven surfaces. The wheel lift works independently of the mast lift and serves to effortlessly overcome ground irregularities, crossing plates, or loading bridges.
