How to find the right pallet jack brakes

A pallet jack brake prevents a truck from rolling away when it’s loaded or on a slope. It also helps you brake safely when transporting heavy loads. These accessories ensure maximum workplace safety.

Our range includes both manual parking brakes and service and parking brakes for pallet jacks with load capacities of 1500 kg to 2500 kg. They are suitable for polyurethane or solid rubber tyres and are available for various pallet truck models.

Please note: Service and parking brakes must always be ordered with the base vehicle. Only parking brakes can be retrofitted.

1. What requirements should your pallet jack brake meet?

2. Manual parking brake or service and parking brake?

The key difference between pallet jack brakes is their operating principle. At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, we offer two basic brake types, each with its own advantages.

  • Mounts between both steering wheels for maximum braking power

  • Significantly reduces braking effort
