Ride-on scrubber dryers

Ride-on scrubber dryers are powerful cleaning machines designed to make cleaning large floor areas faster and more efficient, combining scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming in a single machine. Most ride-on floor scrubber machines in the Jungheinrich PROFISHOP range are battery-powered, making a practical choice if you need to clean large indoor areas efficiently and thoroughly. The range also includes a diesel/gas-powered model.

In contrast to walk-behind scrubber dryers, which are suitable for smaller, cluttered or hard-to-reach areas, a ride-on floor scrubber can be a practical option for larger, relatively open spaces. Its seated operator position, high working speeds and strong cleaning performance can make it easier to clean extensive floor areas efficiently – such as warehouses, logistics halls, shopping centres and event venues. Depending on the model, the rage has an area performance of around 3,000 m²/h to 17,500 m²/h.

A ride-on floor scrubber machine removes dirt and particles, dirty water and loosened dirt from the floor, depositing them via the suction mechanism into the integrated dirty-water tank. Most devices feature large-capacity fresh-water and dirty-water tanks so you can use your machine for longer between refills and emptying.

1. Choose a ride-on scrubber dryer by brush type

From our robust range of ride-on scrubber machines, you can choose from disc and roller brush technologies depending on the area of application, surface type and degree of dirt:

2. Consider the working width, tank volume and performance of the ride-on scrubber dryer

Important criteria when purchasing a ride-on floor scrubber also include the theoretical and practical cleaning performance, the working width and the tank capacity. These factors affect productivity, the areas in which the machine can be used and the operating time between refills.

Area performance indicates the area a ride-on scrubber dryer can clean per hour. The practical area performance is usually lower as it factors in the type and extent of the soiling. At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you can find models with a theoretical area output from approximately 3000 m²/h to 17,500 m²/h.

The working width also has a direct impact on area performance. In our range, you will find various models with working widths from 530 mm to approximately 1,400 mm. Wider working widths are suitable for cleaning larger areas more quickly and efficiently, while smaller working widths are ideal for smaller and more constricted spaces.

Depending on the model, our ride-on cleaning equipment features fresh-water tank capacities between 70 and 303 l and dirty-water tank capacities between 70 and 360 l. A larger tank capacity can extend operating time between refills, although area performance also depends on factors such as working width and driving speed.

3. Determine any desired additional functions of the ride-on scrubber dryer

Many of our ride-on floor scrubbers offer a range of additional functions. For example, some Nilfisk® models feature a spring-loaded scrubbing deck. The deck, which is connected to the steering wheel, follows the machine’s movement so that the suction bar remains aligned with the path of dirty water. This helps reduce water residue, which reduces the risk of slipping and increases overall safety.

Depending on the model, the ride-on floor scrubbers in our online range include additional functions designed to make floor cleaning more convenient, efficient and environmentally friendly. Additional features include:

• Some models feature a built-in whisper mode. This technology reduces noise emissions during operation, meaning that they can be used for cleaning noise-sensitive areas with minimal disruption.
• Some of our ride-on scrubber dryers feature ec-H2O™ technology and support chemical-free or reduced-chemical cleaning. This can help reduce the use of conventional cleaning agents and promote resource-saving operation.
• With the SmartFlow™ function on selected models, fresh-water dosage is controlled automatically in proportion to the working speed. This helps ensure consistent cleaning and efficient water use even when driving around objects or slowing down to clean corners.
• Automatic speed control adjusts the driving speed of selected ride-on scrubbers to match the cleaning conditions. This can reduce energy consumption, help maintain consistent cleaning performance and increase safety, as the machine automatically slows down in more challenging areas.
• Dura-Track™ suction feet support effective water collection and suction, helping to leave cleaned surfaces dry and safe to walk on. This is particularly advantageous in operating areas where there is high traffic.
